Once Free died, there should have been no question on who she was gonna be with.Britain, right.? WRONG! She chose Free.who was fucking DEAD! So she killed herself to be with him. He was such a good dude! He treated her good and was loving and patient.but the heart wants what its stupid ass wants.

I get why they needed Six to handle Britain, because they needed that money to pay the Russians. You think he come out of jail with $250k when he got nabbed on his way from getting the work? That's unreasonable. Yes, that's what he was supposed to do, but why not give the nigga a break. He got rid of the dope and didn't mention them. So Free coming home from jail with that debt I kind of get, but then I don't. I'm just so fucking annoyed with the shit that happened that led to their sad tragic fucking demise. It ain't the writing.the writing is on point. "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" is a great introduction to urban lit and it is a testament to the fact that there are some talented African American writers who can write about "life" in the ghetto and incorporate hip-hop culture without completely disgracing the Black community - they can write about the other side, add a little fiction, and create something that is quite entertaining. I know quite a few people don't like urban lit, but it may be a result of all the ridiculously bad books many struggling "authors" self-publish. I am a big fan of Ashley & JaQuavis, I find that these two successfully write urban novellas without the foolish and unlikeable characters found in books by their colleagues like Teri Woods, Erick Gray, and Wahida Clarke (I love them but there's no depth to their books). Ashley & JaQuavis do a good job of relaying a street tale without completely unlikely circumstances and events. I'm always pleased whenever I find a street novel that doesn't incorporate scenes full of blood and gore. Free was hot tempered and relentless in his demeanor. With two leading male characters, it's amazing that I found it impossible to hate either one. I like that Ashley & JaQuavis managed to put a spin on the typical urban novel with an intricate plot and rather disturbing ending.
